This 3-hectare Domaine has a rich history and strong connections to influential families in Burgundy. Alexandre Gavignet, the fourth-generation vigneron, currently leads the Domaine. His great grandfather, Honore Gavignet, was the winemaker at Domaine de la Romanee Conti in the late 19th and early 20th centuries before establishing his own Domaine in Nuits Saint Georges which eventually reached 9 hectares before his passing and was subsequently divided by his children.

Today, the Domaine comprises 3 hectares of mainly Nuits Saint Georges vineyards, including a 1er Cru Les Chabœufs. In 2009, they added a parcel in Echezeaux to their portfolio. The range of wines produced here spans from Passetoutgrain to Echezeaux. While most of the cuvées undergo moderate oak aging, with village and Premier Cru wines seeing 30-40% new oak, Alexandre uses 100% new oak for the Echezeaux, which covers less than 0.2 hectares.

The wines produced at this Domaine are exceptionally crafted and offer excellent value for their price.
