Granddaughter of legendary winemaker Paul Pernot, Alvina launched her own domaine in 2018 alongside husband Philippe Abadie. With a focus on small-scale excellence, she sources fruit from just 7 hectares of prime vineyards, including family parcels from the Pernots, who boast the second-largest holdings in Puligny-Montrachet (around 20 hectares, right after Leflaive). Her lineup shines with coveted appellations like Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet.
Breaking from the family's style, Alvina crafts brighter, precise wines with the highest altitude parcel , sustainable farming, early harvests, and minimal intervention to let the terroir truly sing.
Rave reviews: "Outstanding" from Burghound's Allen Meadows, high praise from Jasper Morris in Inside Burgundy, and Decanter's Charles Curtis MW crowned her top Puligny producer for 2021.
