CHAVY CHOUET

Domaine Chavy Chouet, a prestigious 15-hectare estate nestled in the heart of Burgundy's renowned Côte de Beaune, stands as a testament to the Chavy family's winemaking legacy spanning seven generations. Under the skilled guidance of Romaric Chavy, who took the helm in 2014 following his father's footsteps, the domaine has soared to new heights, earning a well-deserved reputation among the region's rising stars.

Located in the villages of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Volnay, and Pommard, the estate's vineyard portfolio boasts prime parcels in spectacular sites, including Les Enseignères, Premier Cru Les Folatières, and Premier Cru Champ Gains. With vines predominantly over 40 years old, Romaric's commitment to meticulous viticulture shines through, employing lutte raisonnée principles and organic practices to ensure the health and purity of the vines.

In the pursuit of excellence, Romaric's winemaking style remains true to tradition while embracing innovation. Gentle pressing and gravity-based fermentation with indigenous yeasts preserve the fruit's essence, resulting in full-bodied and rich wines brimming with freshness and vitality. The use of Gillet barrels, sourced from Nevers, Limousin, and Allier forests, accentuates the wines' character without overshadowing their inherent brilliance. The estate's dedication to minimal intervention allows the wines to shine with utmost clarity and authenticity, making Domaine Chavy Chouet a truly exciting and revered domain in Burgundy's winemaking landscape.
